Music industry truths

 This is going to be brutal, but I had to do it. Hello, welcome or welcome back. I'm Hasty and I'm a musician. I've been a musician for the past 10 years or so, a little more. I [music] started in 2014. And these are some of the facts about the music industry that I haven't come across anyone else talking about them. So I thought I would give it a go. >> First and the most obvious one. [music] It is hard but not in the way most people think. It is hard because it's not like in general it's not going to be a quick thing that you will get the answers that you want and it requires the true dedication but on the other hand I think that's a requirement for everything else like if you want to be good at something and if you want to go are doing something that you really want to leave your mark on the industry, >> whatever it is, it's the same thing. But I think because it requires more energy and more love and dedication, people sometimes misunderstand [music] it. And this is, by the way, part one. I'm going to do a couple of videos on this because I have a lot of these and not all of them can be, you know, in one single video.
